When was the last time you went out and bought something and the the seller explained to you how much their plant and machinery cost, how much they paid their staff, how much the freight was to get the product to your market to justify their selling price. You either bought what they were selling at the price they asked for OR you didn’t. You bought it because the value was right for you or you didn’t because the price wasn’t justified.
    Why should your client be interested in how much your cameras cost, or your lenses, or your car, or the rent you pay for your apartment or your studio?! She/he is only interested in the value of the work you produce for them and if that justifies the price you ask for they will buy, otherwise why should they. Its as simple as that.
